Mission: To help everyone recognize mold-related illnesses and educate the community of the spectrum of devastating conditions caused by exposure to dangerous molds.
Dr. Grant’s expertise in diseases due to fungi is unique. Trained at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and her years of work with AIDS, she has treated many immunocompromised with fungal complications.
Since her involvement with a New York City mold outbreak where she evaluated many patients exposed to the mold Stachybotrys chartarum, she has cared for many patients with fungal related illness, especially Stachybotrys, Aspergillus and Penicillium. She has developed integrative medicine protocols to help mold-exposed patients recover from the consequent debility and chemical sensitivity. Nutritional management, acupuncture and herbal medicine have helped many.
Her expertise in medical nutrition is based on a strong foundation in basic sciences, and years of working with patients with AIDS. She has been on faculty at Albert Einstein and NY Medical College teaching Nutrition to medical students.
